We all know costs can quickly spiral during summer holidays, but there’s an easy way you can save some money whilst keeping the kids well-fed.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll love saving money on your everyday purchases so in this article, I’ve listed all of the kids eat free and kids eat for £1 (or less!) deals across the UK so you can plan some cheap meals for the kids during the summer holidays.

Summer 2026 Bonus

The Government has cut VAT on children’s meals to just 5% from 25th June to 1st September, and some places have passed this saving onto you. I’ve highlighted like below, like the Asda kids meal being 88p instead of £1.

Kids Eat Free Cafes & Supermarkets

Dunelm

Kids enjoy a free mini meal deal with every £4 spent in the Pausa Cafe at Dunelm, all day every day.

Age: not mentioned. When: ongoing.

John Lewis

One child gets a free kids’ meal at lunch when an adult spends £10 on their lunch in John Lewis cafes.

Age: not mentioned. When: 19th July to 8th September 2026

Morrisons

Get one free kids’ meal with any adult meal over £5 from the Breakfasts, Classics or Chippy section of the Morrisons Cafe menu. As a side note, you can also enjoy free refills on self service hot drinks in the majority of their cafes.

Morrisons also now run a free kids (and adults) breakfast during every official school holiday in 2026. The breakfast includes Kellogg’s cereal, milk and fruit. No voucher or booking needed, just turn up at the cafe and ask for it.

Subway

Kids eat free at Subway with every footlong sub or SubMelt purchased. The free meal includes 4″ sub, snack and drink.

Age: not mentioned. When: 28th July to 17th August 2026.

Tesco

Kids can enjoy a free meal with any adult purchase in Tesco Cafes when you scan your Tesco Clubcard. The kids meal includes a hot Meal Deal, kids’ Breakfast or kids Pick’n’Mix deal. Adult spend can be as little as 60-65p and it doesn’t need to be a full meal.

Age: not mentioned. When: 25th June to 1st September 2026.

Kids Eat Free Restaurants

Bella Italia

Kids get a free 3 course meal and a drink with the purchase of an adult main course from Sunday to Thursday. Excludes Centre Parc sites and a number of London branches, so heck your nearest branch is included.

Age: 2-11 years old. When: ongoing.

Bills

Up to two kids eat free all day Monday to Friday when one adult orders any main course.

Age: 10 years old and under. When: 25th June to 1st September 2026.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants

Get a free main course from the kids menu for each adult dining from the a la carte menu. Kids can also add on a dessert for only £3.50. Excludes weekends at BSK Battersea Power Station and Heddon Street Kitchen.

Age: 10 years old and under. When: ongoing, but excludes key dates such as New Years Eve and Christmas Day.

Las Iguanas

Join the My Iguanas loyalty program via their app and get a free kids’ main, 2 sides and dessert with every adult ordering a main course from the a la carte menu. You can also get a free book with every kids meal, subject to availability. Maximum one app perk redeemable per visit.

Age: up to 12 years old. When: ongoing.

Pizza Express

Children can enjoy one free Piccolo meal for free when you purchase an adult main course when you dine in.

Age: not mentioned. When: 22nd July to 11th August.

Prezzo

Kids can enjoy a 2 course meal for free with the purchase of one adult main meal. This offer can be used up to 12 customers per table.

Prezzo has also launched a £1.99/month Kids Club subscription, letting up to 3 kids eat ‘free’ with one full price adult main any time.

Age: not mentioned. When: live now, but no end date stated on website.

TGI Fridays

Kids get a free child’s main meal with the purchase of a full price adult’s main meal. This kids eat free deal is available all day, every day for TGI Friday’s Stripes Rewards Members.

Age: up to 12 years old. When: ongoing.

The Real Greek

Every Sunday, kids get a free meal, drink and ice cream/sorbet for every £15 spent by an adult.

Age: 12 years old and under. When: ongoing.

Yo Sushi

Kids eat free with every £10 spent on food by an accompanying adult. The child will receive a kids’ meal deal bento box and there’s a maximum of 3 kids per booking.

Age: 12 years old and under. When: during local school holiday dates (no longer confirmed as a year-round, every-day offer so check with your local Yo!).

Kids Eat Free Pubs

Beefeater & Brewer’s Feyre

Up to two kids eat for free with every adult breakfast purchased. An adult breakfasts is unlimited, all you can eat for only £10.99. Same deal also applies at other Whitbread-owned restaurants: Bar + Block and Table Table

Age: up to 16 years old. When: ongoing.

Brew Dog

Kids get a free meal from the kids’ menu when eating with an adult. Meals include DIY pizzas to cheese toasties. You need to pre-book your table using the ‘Kids Eat Free’ offer.

Age: 13 years old and under. When: 22nd July to 1st September 2026 (exact end date varies slightly by location so check your local branch)

Premier Inn & Whitbred Inn

Two kids get a free breakfast with every adult breakfast purchased.

Age: 15 years old and under. When: ongoing.

Kids Eat For £1 or Less

ASDA

Kids can enjoy a hot meal and a piece of fruit for £1 all day, every day at ASDA cafes with no adult spend.

Age: under 16 years old. When: Sundays from 12pm-3pm.

Dobbies Garden Centre

One child’s breakfast or lunch is £1 with the purchase of an adult breakfast or lunch, daily from 12pm-3pm. A child’s roast dinner is also £1 on Sundays when an adult buys a main course lunch. Summer 2025 specifically, prices drop even further to 88p per child as part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings scheme, running 25th June to 1st September 2026. Not available at Little Dobbies stores and a few other branches, so please check your local Dobbie’s before going.

Age: not mentioned. When: ongoing, with the 88p rate from 25th June to 1st September.

Hungry Horse

Every Monday, up to two kids eat for £1 for a main meal or £1.50 for a larger meal with every paying adult. During school holidays, this sometimes extends Monday to Friday, so it’s worth checking your local pub’s page.

Age: not mentioned. When: Mondays from 12pm.

IKEA

Kids can enjoy a mac n cheese, soft drink and piece of fruit for 95p, or any other kids meal for £1.50.

Age: not mentioned. When: daily, excluding Fridays, from 11am.

Sainsbury’s

Kids can get a hot main meal or a lunch bag for £1 with the purchase of an adult hot main meal from £5.20.

Age: not mentioned. When: ongoing, from 11.30am.

Sizzling Pubs

Monday to Friday between 12pm-7pm, you can get a free kids’ main meal for £1 with the purchase of every adult main meal.

Age: not mentioned. When: ongoing, during school holidays it starts from 12pm and outwith school holiday it starts from 3pm.

FAQs

Do I need to ask about Kids Eat Free offers before ordering?

I would recommend to mention it to your server before you order to make sure you’re ordering the correct items, that the offer is available in the particular restaurant you’re in and also at the time you’re visiting. It’s worth noting that each place has its own T&Cs – I’ve summarised age and date restrictions above, but some may have other terms which I haven’t listed or this blog would be a super lengthy, boring read! So just do a quick search online for “[name of restaurant] kids eat free” to check for details before you set off.

Are the kids eats free offers available all year?

Most of the offers are available during school holidays only and only some supermarkets or restaurants offer kids eat free deals all year. In the list above, we’ve highlight the year round deals with ‘Ongoing’.

Is there an age limit for the kids eat free deals?

Yes, there is an age limit for most of the kids eat free deals. I have highlighted these above, but the majority are for under 12 years old. Some don’t mention an age range, so it’s best to ask your server before ordering the meal.
