If you’re in an eligible postcode area, you can use Amazon Fresh and have your groceries delivered just a few hours later. 

If you are an Amazon Prime member, and more than 10 million of us are in the UK alone, you have access to a wide variety of ways to save money, keep yourself and your family entertained and best of all you can do it from the comfort of your own home. 

Given the wide range of choice on the Amazon website, and the sheer number of products and services that they have to offer, it can feel a little overwhelming to find the actual bargains. I’m here to help you find the best deals at Amazon and make sure you’re getting the most bang for your buck from your Amazon Prime membership too.

With Prime Day, Warehouse Deals, Amazon Fresh offers, coupons, discounts and exclusive time-limited Lightning Deals it can feel like information overload when shopping with Amazon so I’m going to break down the different ways that you can save money and provide you with some handy links to direct you to the best special offers and deals at Amazon.

You’ll find hidden gems and the best deals at Amazon in this post that will help you save time and money when you shop with Amazon – especially if you’re an Amazon Prime member. If you are ready to become an Amazon deal finding pro then let’s dive straight in! 

My favourite Amazon finds: 

Travel Backpack

I have been shopping with Amazon for years and have found some real gems. One of my favourite deals at Amazon is this travel backpack. I use this to help me save money, by not paying for hold luggage when I’m travelling, and I always surprise myself with just how much I can pack into this backpack – including 5 days worth of clothes for Rome!

Typically I like to use compression packing cubes, to help me organise the clothes I take with me when travelling, and I was able to pack enough clothes for a 5 day city break, plus my laptop and tech for filming content for my Instagram and TikTok accounts, into this one backpack.

In just one trip the travel backpack has paid for itself by allowing me to skip paying for hold luggage. Having everything in one bag, in the cabin, means I was able to skip the queues waiting at the luggage carousel and get straight on with enjoying my city break. There’s a reason it’s one of my top deals at Amazon!

I also make sure that I dispense most of my toiletries into these tiny bottles to be sure that I have enough room to pack everything I needed for my skincare routine, while also saving space in my backpack. As I use Skin+Me I don’t have a large amount of beauty products to pack. I’m a big fan of bringing along perfume freebies when travelling too, as these are typically small enough to last only a few uses – perfect for a short holiday or trip.  

Walking Pad

I have been using a walking pad for the best part of a year after receiving a recommendation for this exact model. I’ve been really pleased with how well a walking pad fits into my routine and helps me stay active and it’s one of my most popular deals at Amazon.

I found this walking pad for £189.99 and was able to tick a box on the site for a £30 off voucher. This made it just £159.99, and it’s sometimes on sale for even less than that! So if you spot it at £159.99 or less, it’s a good deal so snap it up.

This walking pad has a range of up to 10km per hour, a remote to adjust the speed while you are walking and it has hundreds of 5-star reviews too. 

If you want to increase the steps that you’re getting daily you’ll find a walking pad is a great addition to your routine, particularly if you work from home or are desk based for most of your working day. I use mine during winter when it’s too dark to walk on my own at night.

Having checked the Amazon price tracker, CamelCamelCamel, the lowest price it’s seemingly ever been was £152.90 in both December 2023 and October 2022.

If you’re not already a member of Amazon Prime then try it out for yourself with a free 30-day Amazon prime trial. You may be able to try this one per year, so check the link even if you’ve had a free trial previously. Amazon customers that have already used this offer may also be eligible to receive a one week trial for just 99p.

Amazon Prime membership costs £95 annually, or £8.99 per month. Students pay £47.49 per year, or £4.49 monthly. If you’re an O2 customer you can add Prime membership to your O2 bill and receive a £2 airtime discount per month. On top of getting great deals at Amazon, you’ll also get these benefits:

1. Same-Day Delivery. Super-fast delivery is available seven days a week. This is available at no extra cost for selected postcodes when spending £20 or more on qualifying items. Below £20 a £1.99 fee is applied. This delivery options costs £5.99 per delivery for Amazon customers without a Prime membership.
2. Unlimited One-Day Delivery. Millions of items on the Amazon website can be purchased with unlimited One-Day Delivery in the UK at no extra cost. Prime members in the Republic of Ireland can benefit from Unlimited Priority Delivery. 
3. Amazon Day Delivery. If you have a set day that is the most convenient for you to receive packages you can select this option when processing your Amazon orders knowing that all your packages will be delivered on your agreed day. 
4. Prime early access. Amazon Prime members will have access to Lightning Deals 30 minutes early. This is great to help you snag a bargain on the most time-limited deals at Amazon.
5. Try before you buy with Prime Wardrobe. Whether you want a wardrobe freshen up, or are looking for an outfit for a specific event, you can order up to 6 eligible items from the clothing and shoes categories and you will only pay for the items you choose to keep. You have 7 days to try-on the items and you’ll receive free and easy returns with a prepaid label to send back any items that aren’t the right fit or style for you.
6. Stock up and save. Add £40 of selected items to your basket and receive a 15% off discount. This is a promotion that runs sporadically. 
7. Amazon Fresh grocery delivery. You can choose from 1000s of items from grocery retailers including Co-Op, Iceland, Booths and Morrisons with Amazon Fresh. Same-day delivery is available, in a two-hour time slot, and you’ll receive real time updates while your groceries are being picked. The minimum order is £15 for Prime members, and £25 for customers without a Prime membership. Spend from £40 or more with Amazon Fresh to receive free delivery, depending on the retailer, and you’ll be able to track the order within your two-hour delivery slot. 
8. Prime exclusive discounts. Every day of the year Amazon members have access to hundreds of exclusive discounts and deals at Amazon.
9. Prime video. Prime members can stream great shows such as Clarkson’s Farm, The Grand Tour and Downton Abbey with prime Video. Amazon have hundreds of Prime Original shows and Exclusives including live sport events. 
10. Prime video rent or buy. Members have access to regular special offers to Rent or Buy new movies and TV shows. 
11. Amazon music prime. Listen to all the music you love, from a range of 100,000,000 songs, plus have access to fantastic podcasts and great playlists with your Prime membership. 
12. Prime gaming. Claim games, a monthly Twitch channel subscription and more with Prime gaming. 
13. Prime Reading. Choose from thousands of books, magazines, Comic and Graphic Novels, with Prime reading. They have fiction, non-fiction, short works, children’s books and more – meaning you’ll always have access to something fantastic to read in just seconds. This is one of my favourite deals at Amazon. If you want access to more books check out Kindle Unlimited. 
14. Amazon First Reads. You can read one of next month’s Kindle releases, for free, plus receive access to a bonus short read too. 
15. Audible bonus. Prime members receive 2 credits with a free 30-day Audible trial instead of the standard 1 credit. You can use Audible credits to purchase access to Audiobooks from a range of best-selling authors and Sunday Times bestsellers. 
16. Amazon Household. Create an Amazon Household, with another adult and up to 4 children, to share Prime benefits, digital content and manage your children’s content on Amazon devices. 
17. Amazon Kids+. Receive a discount of more than 1/3 on a digital Kids+ subscription that provides children with access to thousands of ad-free books, games, educational apps, videos, Alexa Skills and more. There is a handy parent dashboard to help control the experience and keep it age appropriate too. Check out these Kids Eat Free offers if you have little ones.
18. Amazon photos. You can store unlimited photos, and up to 5GB of videos, which you can then access from anywhere and share with family members. 
19. Student discounts. Students and 18-22 year olds can receive exclusive membership offers including discounts on textbooks, coach tickets, Amazon fresh shops, stationery essentials and more plus six months of free Prime student membership. 
20. Deliveroo Plus silver. Amazon Prime members receive a Deliveroo Plus Silver subscription, at no additional cost. This provides Deliveroo customers with one year of free deliveries on orders over £15 from a range of well known restaurants including Wagamamas, Pizza Express, Five Guys and Wing Stop. 
21. Hello Fresh free delivery. Another great benefit is free shipping on Hello Fresh recipes boxes for 1 year. If you are already a Hello Fresh customer this is a huge saving of £4.99 per box. 
22. ODEON cinemas. From Monday to Thursday, once per month, Prime Members can receive 2 cinema tickets for £10. 

Best deals at Amazon 

Prime Big Deals Day 2024 

On the 8th and 9th of October 2024 Amazon is hosting Prime Big Deals Day. Amazon will have discounts across a range of categories including fashion, home, devices and toys. I’ve rounded up my top deals at Amazon – use this link to see my deals at Amazon.

This two-day event is exclusively for Amazon Prime customers and will feature well known brands such as LG, Sony, Shark, Tefal and Bose. 

To make sure what you’re buying is actually a good deal you can check out the price of items you want to buy on CamelCamelCamel and take a look at the price history. This will show you the historical price for 1000s of items. 

Black Friday Deals 2024 

Black Friday occurs on Friday 29th November 2024, and you will have a week of deals at Amazon which typically start up to a week before Black Friday itself and continue until the Monday afterwards, 2nd December 2024. 

Prime Members have early access to the best deals at Amazon, and you can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime. 

Top picks from previous years have included deals on Philips and Ninja air fryers, GHD products, De’Longhi coffee makers, Alexa devices, Kindles, Joseph Joseph product, and Echo devices. 

You will find that some items are not truly great deals, and are just reduced to their usual sale price, so keep your wits about you and check out that price history before making a purchase. 

Amazon Fresh offers

To find the best deals at Amazon when shopping with Amazon Fresh you’ll want to search for the phrase reduced shelf life. The search results will show you a range of products, specific to your local distribution centre, that have a short shelf life. This typically varies from 1 – 3 days and mostly consists of fresh produce including meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, dairy, eggs and ready meals. 

You can also check out the Special Offers and Prime member deals to find savings of up to 50% on selected items including bakery, meat & produce and ready meals. 

Amazon Fresh is listed on Airtime Rewards sometimes, for specific users, meaning you can earn cashback when you use this too.

Amazon pickup discount: £3 off a £10 spend 

Selected customers can receive a one-time discount. Use this link to check if you’re eligible. 

Then you will need to:

• Select apply promotion. 
• Add an Amazon pickup location to your address book.
• Select items with a value of at least £10, sold & delivered by Amazon, add them to your basket.
• Complete your order, the £3 reward will be automatically applied to your basket during checkout.
• This offer expires on 31st December 2024, or after 20,000 uses, whichever comes first.

Amazon Lightning Deals

You can find a range of time-limited deals at Amazon, that are often referred to as Lightning Deals. These are special offers on items in categories including home, clothing, home & kitchen, electronics and more. 

These deals are often time-limited, and may also be limited in quantity too. It can be easy to get swept along with the excitement of the clock ticking down so make sure you are buying items that you actually have a need for, regardless of how great the special offers are. 

Amazon Resale 

This part of Amazon used to be known as Amazon Warehouse, however it is now called Amazon Resale. Here you will find used and returned products that are available for a discounted price. 

Amazon offers discounts on a selection of products that have been returned. These have been professionally inspected by Amazon and this is a great way to be more environmentally conscious while picking yourself up a discount too. 

Open-box products may have never even been removed from the box, and you will find goodies such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, home and kitchen appliances and much more. 

Items are rated on a scale as follows;

• Used – like new. Items in perfect working condition, with packaging that may have a little damage. Items are in full working condition and come with all accessories as they would if brand new. 
• Used – very good. Items in great condition that may have had limited use and are fully functional. They may have minor cosmetic imperfections and could be missing accessories. You’ll see any missing accessories listed in the items description before purchasing.
• Used – good. These items may have been used a moderate amount, and show signs of wear. This could include small scratches or surface damage. Missing accessories will be listed in the description.
• Used – acceptable. These items have been more loved, and have lots of signs of use. You may find dents, scratches or worn corners and edges. Accessories or spare parts may be missing, and items may not be functional for use until these missing parts or accessories are replaced.

Amazon Resale gives you a great opportunity to purchase items at a discounted price and bag some of the top deals at Amazon. Be sure to check all descriptions carefully before making a purchase.
