Krispy Kreme 

What you can get: A free doughnut of your choice. 

How to claim: Join the Krispy Kreme Rewards app. Once your birthday comes around you’ll see the birthday reward in the app to show in-store. You’ll also receive a free doughnut just for signing up to the app. 

Note – This offer can only be redeemed in Krispy Kreme stores and not concession stands or other retailers that sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts. 

Greggs

What you can get: A free sweet treat. You can choose from a variety of treats like doughnuts, muffins, cookies, and more. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Greggs Rewards app and complete your profile. Visit the Rewards tab of the app on your birthday.

Note – You have one month to use this reward after issue. 

Subway 

What you can get: A free packet of crisps, free cookie or six-inch sub.

How to claim: Join the Subway Rewards app and complete your profile. On your birthday you’ll receive an email that will direct you to scan your app in-store to claim your birthday freebie. The six-inch sub is the highest value reward, and the greatest choice of the best birthday freebies, but even a free cookie is a nice reward.  

Note – The birthday reward you receive is dependent on the membership tier you have reached in the Subway Rewards app. 

Chopstix

What you can get: A free noodle box. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Chopstix app. Once your birthday rolls around you’ll unlock the free birthday box offer. 

Note – You have one week to use this reward after your birthday and may redeem this at participating stores. 

GAIL’s

What you can get: A free sweet treat from the ‘Baker’s Table’. 

How to claim: Sign up to the GAIL’s loyalty app. Enter your birthday in the My Account section and a voucher will be emailed to you on your birthday. 

Note – You have 30 days to redeem this reward. 

Burger King 

What you can get: A free plant-based whopper or standard whopper. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Burger King rewards app at least 7 days before your birthday. Make sure you complete the Account Info section and opt-in to email communications and in-app push notifications. 

Note – You have 14 days to redeem this reward. This reward can’t be redeemed in Burger Kings at motorway service locations, airports, train station or holiday parks.

Costa Coffee

What you can get: A free cake. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Costa Club app and make sure to enter your birthday. You’ll receive a free cake in the Rewards section. If you’re signing up to the Costa Club app for the first time then use code 6FVU3 to receive 5 beans to help you get free coffee faster! 

Note – You have one week to redeem this reward. You can also get free coffee every time you buy 10 coffees using the Costa Club app. 

Caffè Nero

What you can get: A free traybake slice or piece of cake.

How to claim: Sign up to the Caffè Nero app and make sure to enter your birthday. You’ll receive a reward within the app.

Note – You have two weeks to redeem this reward.

Starbucks 

What you can get: A free drink for Gold members. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Starbucks Rewards programme. You’ll need to have earned at least 450 Stars to hit the Gold membership tier that unlocks this free reward.

Note – You have 30 days to redeem this reward.

Lidl

What you can get: A free doughnut. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Lidl Plus app and you’ll see this voucher in the Coupons For You tab. 

Note – You have one week to redeem this reward.

Hotel Chocolat

What you can get: A free £5 voucher.  

How to claim: Sign up to become a VIP.ME member. You’ll receive your £5 voucher around 1 week before your birthday.

Note – This reward is valid for 30 days and you must spend over £5.50 to redeem your free voucher. 

Lindt 

What you can get: A free box of milk chocolate Lindor. 

How to claim: Sign up to the MyLindt Rewards and you’ll receive an email with the voucher on your birthday. 

Note – You can redeem your voucher in-store, at Lindt Chocolate Shops, without any spend. If you want to redeem the voucher online then there is a minimum spend requirement of £20. 

Frankie & Benny’s 

What you can get: A free main course. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Frankie & Benny’s mailing list and you’ll receive a voucher for a free main meal on your birthday.

Cafe Rouge 

What you can get: A free main meal.

Las Iguanas

What you can get: A surprise!  

How to claim: Sign up to the Las Iguanas newsletter, at least one week before your birthday, and you’ll receive your birthday freebie. The best birthday freebies seem to be a bottle of bubbly or a free main meal. This offer changes frequently. 

You’ll find Las Iguanas, and several other restaurants offering the best birthday freebies, have kids eat free offers too.

Note – If you tell the restaurant it’s your birthday you’ll receive a free DIY Caipirinha Board that allows you to make your own cocktail.

Pizza Express

What you can get: A free dessert, free pizza or free bottle of Prosecco. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Pizza Express Club and complete your profile. On your birthday you’ll receive a reward in the app for a freebie. The highest value reward, and the greater of the best birthday freebies from Pizza Express, is the bottle of prosecco. You can choose to exchange this for a classic or romana pizza if you don’t drink. 

Note – The birthday reward you receive is dependent on the membership tier that you have reached within the Pizza Express Club app. This reward is valid throughout your birthday month. 

Zizzi 

What you can get: A free main meal.

How to claim: Join the Zizzi loyalty club, The Zillionaire’s Club, and you’ll receive a voucher for a free meal just before your birthday. 

Note – This voucher requires the purchase of a second main meal and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts. You have 28 days to redeem this reward.

TGI Fridays 

What you can get: Free cocktails, or mocktails, for you and up to 5 friends. 

How to claim: Sign up to the TGI Rewards app and you’ll receive a code one week before your birthday. 

Note – You must purchase one main meal for every person redeeming this offer and it cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts. ‘Ultimate cocktails’ are excluded from this offer. 

Turtle Bay

What you can get: £20 gift with no minimum spend!

How to claim: Sign up to the Turtle Bay app and check the app on your birthday and the offer should appear.

Note – If you subscribe to their newsletter with the same email address as your app, Turtle Bay will email you a link to access it 10 days earlier – not bad eh!

Cosmos

What you can get: One free meal on your birthday or up to 7 days before or after.

How to claim: You have to book online at least 24 hours prior notice and quoting ‘Free Birthday Meal’ in the ‘add special request’ tab on the booking form. When you arrive you’ll be asked for your voucher and proof of your date of birth (passport, driving licence). More details can be found on the Cosmo website.

Note – Offer is only valid Sundays-Fridays and you need to be dining with 3 paying customers (children are included in this). It’s also worth noting this may not be available in every Cosmo so just check this when pre-booking.

All Bar One

What you can get: A free bottle of prosecco. 

How to claim: Sign up to the All Bar One Rewards app and you’ll receive a voucher just before your birthday. 

Note – You’ll also receive a £20 welcome voucher when you sign up to the app. This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.

Taco Bell 

What you can get:Free churros or a cinnamon twist.

How to claim: Sign up to the Taco Bell app, create and account and make at least one purchase before your birthday. 

Note – You have two weeks to redeem this reward. You’ll also receive a free taco when you sign up. 

Boost

What you can get: A free juice. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Boost Juice app, make at least one purchase before your birthday and then head to a Boost store with your ID to receive your free birthday juice.

Note – There is a 3 day window either side of your birthday to redeem this offer. You must have earned at least one point in the Boost Juice app to receive a free juice. 

Coco di Mama 

What you can get:A free pasta pot.

How to claim: Sign up to Club Coco, enter your birthday in the My Account section and you’ll receive a voucher for your birthday. 

Note – London stores only. You have one month to redeem this reward.

Ole and Steen 

What you can get: A free cake (choose from a chocolate muffin, blueberry muffin, brownie, cookie, banana bread, apple and cinnamon tart or vegan social slice). 

How to claim: Sign up to the Ole and Steen loyalty app, add your birthday, then check the Rewards section of the app for your voucher.

Note – You have one week to redeem this reward.

Auntie Anne’s

What you can get: A free pretzel. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Perks Rewards programme, make at least one purchase before your birthday using the app and then you’ll qualify for a free pretzel. 

Note – The minimum purchase requirement must be fulfilled at least 1 day before your birthday. 

Prezzo

What you can get: A free bottle of drink or two free desserts. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Prezzo newsletter and you’ll receive a code for either two free desserts or a bottle of prosecco, red or white wine, or a bottle of beer such as Poretti. 

Note – You have 60 days to redeem this reward.This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.

Bill’s 

What you can get: A free bottle of prosecco. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Bill’s newsletter, at least a month before your birthday, and you’ll receive an email with a unique voucher code. 

Note – You have 5 weeks to redeem this reward.Each guest at your table must be ordering a main meal from the all-day or seasonal set menu. You can opt for a non-alcoholic Cherry Blossom Spritz if you prefer. 

Miller & Carter 

What you can get: A free glass of prosecco for you and up to 5 friends. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Miller & Carter newsletter, at least two weeks before your birthday, to receive a voucher for a 125ml glass of house prosecco for you and up to 5 guests. 

Note – Each guest at your table must be ordering a main course. You can opt for an alcohol-free cocktail if you prefer. 

Barburrito 

What you can get: A free burrito.

How to claim: Sign up to the Barburrito Rewards app and enter your birthday. You must make at least one prior purchase, of £6 or more, to be eligible for this offer. 

Note – The free burrito voucher will be available from the start of your birthday month. 

Rituals 

What you can get:A free shower oil of choice. 

How to claim: Sign up to My Rituals and enter your birthday. You’ll receive a voucher by email on your birthday.

Note – You must purchase another item to receive your free gift. I think the best birthday freebies are just that, free, but if you’re already a Rituals fan then you’ll still be doing great with this offer. 

Sephora 

What you can get: Bonus points or a free gift. 

How to claim: Sign up to MySephora, opt-in for marketing communications and shop with Sephora as you usually do. Bronze tier members receive 25 points, Silver tier members receive a free MOROCCANOIL treatment and Gold tier members receive a free TATCHA The Dewy Skin Cream.

What you can get: A free full-size product when placing an online order.

Hobbycraft

What you can get: A free £5 voucher. 

How to claim: Sign up to the Hobbycraft Club and you’ll either receive an email on your birthday, or a voucher within the Hobbycraft app.

Pets at Home 

What you can get: A free treat for your pet on their birthday. 

How to claim: Sign up for the Pets at Home VIP Club and you’ll receive a voucher on your pet’s birthday. 

Note – This one is for your pet! 

Marks & Spencer

What you can get: A free treat of a packet of cookies or a pack of grapes.

How to claim: Sign up for the M&S Sparks app and check it on your birthday. They’ll also send an email out if a treat has arrived so perhaps opt in to receiving their emails.

Note – They don’t guarantee a birthday offer to everyone but it’s always worth checking especially if you regularly shop with them!
