When I’m shopping, whether online or in-store, I love to use a variety of ways to save money while finding the best deals at Marks and Spencer.
It’s my own personal mission to never pay full price. I love to share my favourite deals, coupons, vouchers, special offers, discounts, and freebies with members of my free Chloe’s Deal Club newsletter. I’m here to help you make the most of every pound you spend and guide you to the best bargains, special offers, and free products.

Deal stacking is a fantastic way to make the most of every purchase that you make by combining cashback offers, special buys, discount codes, freebies with the best deals at Marks and Spencer.
Within this post I’m going to share my best deals at Marks and Spencer, tips to find bargains and clearance goodies, plus I’ll be talking to you about promotions that Marks and Spencer offer regularly.
I’m a member of Sparks, the Marks and Spencer loyalty scheme, and while I personally would prefer it if everyone just received the lowest prices and best deals at Marks and Spencer without signing up for a loyalty scheme, I do think they’re something of a need these days!
You’ll find that Sparks, and other loyalty schemes, will learn about your purchasing habits and then tailor discounts and special offers for you within the app.
Loyalty schemes are increasing in popularity and there are hundreds of companies offering them in the UK now.
Supermarket loyalty schemes are the main ones that I like to make use of, and this helps me save money on groceries, as I’m typically shopping for groceries every few days, but I recommend signing up for all free schemes to increase your chance of receiving a discount or free product.
Personally I’m signed up to just about all loyalty schemes offered by a brand that I shop with at least annually. I like to maximise the discounts that I can receive and there are often birthday freebies available too.
My favourite loyalty schemes are ones that help me to get free coffee! I love being able to enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee while out on a dog walk – especially when it’s free. I get paid to walk my dog too!
Best dupes at Marks and Spencer:
Apothecary Warmth Eau de Parfum 100ml

If you’re a fan of Le Labo Santal 33, which retails for a whopping £230. You’ll probably love Warmth by Apothecary. A 100ml bottle is just £18 and while the fragrance is not as long-lasting it has a very similar scent that feels familiar and is absolutely delightful thanks to cardamom and cinnamon with a woody base.
Pure Purifying Cleansing Balm 100ml
Another product that I absolutely love, and is very similar to a higher priced branded item, is this purifying cleansing balm from the Pure range. This is one of the best deals at Marks and Spencer as not only is it a bargain, at just £12.50 for 100g, versus around £49 for the same size product from Elemis, but it’s lovely to use too.
This balm will effectively cleanse your skin, and is best used with a muslin cloth for great results. You can use this as the first step in your make-up removal skincare and it’s rich in natural oils such as camelina oil, blackcurrant seed oil and sweet almond oil. This balm is also cruelty free and suitable for vegans.
Gardenia and Vanilla Eau de Toilette 100ml
Fans of Marc Jacobs Daisy will love this similar perfume from Marks and Spencer. You can purchase a 100ml bottle for just £12.50, versus around £70 for Marc Jacobs.
I think the gardenia and vanilla perfume has a slightly fresher scent, but both are perfect for summer and the differences are very minimal.
You’ll find gardenia and vanilla in both fragrances and this dupe is cruelty free and vegan too.
Warm Neroli Eau de Toilette 100ml

For just £10 you can purchase this stunning fragrance that is remarkably similar to Lady Million by Paco Rabanne.
Both fragrances have floral, zesty and woody notes that make up the distinctive scent and while the Marks and Spencer one is not as long lasting it’s still a delightful scent.
Other products I personally love from Marks and Spencer:
Anti-chafe shorts
The anti-chafe shorts from Marks and Spencer are my favourite! Perfect for wearing under dresses in the summer and they’re really comfortable too. They have a great stretch to them and are very soft to wear.
Pyjamas
Marks and Spencer have so many lovely pyjamas. Their Christmas pyjamas are lovely if you want to match with your family over the festive season. Their cotton rich pyjamas sets are well made, long lasting and the fit is true to size too.
Food deals you’ll love at Marks and Spencer
I’ve got an entire post on how to save money on food at Marks and Spencer, but just wanted to share with you some of my favourite food products.
M&S Italian Hazelnut Crème
The M&S Italian Hazelnut Crème is stunning and tastes just like the inside of a Kinder Bueno! This is delicious used in coffee, on toast or even in a milkshake.
Dine-in deals

One of the best deals at Marks and Spencer, food wise at least, has to be their dine-in meal deals. The range of meal deals changes regularly but you’ll often find a family dinner dine-in, steak dine-in, pizza night dine-in, Gastropub dine-in, stir fry dine-in, Indian dine-in and even summer time-limited dine-in deals.
What I love about these deals is they’re a fixed price and then you can mix and match different components to choose a perfect meal for your family. For example; you’ll be able to choose two steaks, a side dish and a sauce or gravy for £15.
Jamie and I love to buy these dine-in meal deals for a simple date night. Minimal cooking, but lots of tasty dishes that make our evening feel a little more special.
Viral chocolate bars
Marks and Spencer have a range of truly stunning chocolate bars, which are pretty similar to the Tony’s Chocolonely bars. You’ll find Pretzel, Caramel Sea Salt & Almond Nougat Milk Chocolate, Caramel, Shortbread, Chocolate Crispies Milk Chocolate and Candy Beans, Orange Jellies & Popping Candy Milk Chocolate. They retail for £3.50 per 180G bar and they’re absolutely delicious!
How to find the best deals at Marks and Spencer
Sign up for a Sparks card

If you love shopping and want to find the best deals at Marks and Spencer you’re going to want to sign up to a Sparks card. This is a great free loyalty scheme, from Marks and Spencer, which offers a variety of rewards to customers.
You can get free coffee for every six hot drinks you purchase from the Marks and Spencer cafe.
You’ll also receive access to exclusive and personalised offers based on your own personal shopping habits. Make sure that you sign up to notifications and opt-in to emails to receive reminders when you have new offers on the Sparks app.
If you provide Sparks with your date of birth you may be the lucky recipient of a Birthday treat or even a freebie.
Another benefit of being a Sparks member is the chance to win back the value of your shopping completely free. One customer per store, every week, will win their shopping for free. If you’re the lucky winner then you’ll be notified immediately during your shop at both a staffed till and self-service checkout.
1p per swipe of your Sparks card will go towards supporting a variety of registered charities and social enterprises.
Make sure that you check the Sparks app before you shop in-store to activate any relevant special offers.
Join the M&S Parenthood

If you have a child, aged from 0-2, and have a Sparks card, you can join the Marks and Spencer baby club, known as The Parenthood from Sparks.
Every week, on a Tuesday from 9:30am – 11:30am, they host parent & baby mornings in Marks and Spencer cafes and when you buy a hot drink you can receive a free slice of cake, pastry or fruit pot to enjoy.
You’ll also receive a 10% discount to use when you purchase baby grows for a whole year as well as monthly rewards, treats and even parenting advice for new parents.
Use the Shwop scheme

Marks and Spencer encourage you to recycle clothing and have a range of different promotions they run throughout the year.
Simply donate pre-loved clothes in store, scan the QR code on your Sparks app, and you’ll receive a treat within your app.
If you drop off pre-loved Marks and Spencer school uniform into the Shwop box in store you’ll receive a 20% discount on kid’s daywear in your Sparks app.
If you want to take advantage of one of the best deals at Marks and Spencer then donate unwanted clothes in any OXFAM store, with at least one Marks and Spencer labelled item of clothing or soft furnishing, and you’ll receive a £5 off a £35 voucher that you can use in Marks and Spencer against clothing, home and beauty products.
Check out the clearance section

When you’re shopping online there is a great sales section that you can check out. Here you’ll see clearance bargains, and you can filter by new arrivals, best selling, price and even review ratings.
Stocks here are limited, and you may find only a few sizes remaining, but you can find some real bargains.
Visit an outlet store
You can find Marks and Spencer outlets in a variety of locations including Hatfield, Wembley, Thurrock, Braintree, Birmingham, Gloucester, Bridgend, Ellesmere Port, Colne, Gretna, Glasgow, Livingston, and more.
Outlet stores typically sell older season stock at discounted prices. You can find discounts ranging from 20% to 70% in Marks and Spencer outlets and you’ll find an array of fantastic Christmas gifts here too.
Items on sale in outlet stores include clothing, lingerie, beauty products, food and wine plus gifts.
Check out seasonal sales

You can typically find the best deals at Marks and Spencer during their seasonal sales. You’ll find discount on end of season clothing, homeware and food at different points throughout the year.
End-of-summer, Christmas, and January all typically have clearance events, with around 50% off selected items.
Treat yourself to a beauty advent calendar
If you love Marks and Spencer beauty products then you’ll want to take a look at their beauty advent calendar. Last year’s calendar contained a variety of products, including six full size products. The estimated value has been said to be over £300 – but you could pick it up for just £50!
Earn cashback when shopping online
If you like the convenience of online shopping, perhaps to keep an eye on your spending or just to save time versus visiting a store, then you can make yourself some cashback in the process.
TopCashback and Quidco allow you to receive cashback on your everyday shopping purchases. Think of it as earning back a little bit of money just for buying items that you’re already going to be buying.
Cashback can take a while to become payable but if you’re going to be making the purchases anyway then you may as well earn yourself some free money in the process!
Stopping by a cashback website before you do an online shop will only add around 30 seconds on to the time it takes to complete your purchase, as all you need to do is visit your cashback website of choice and search for Marks and Spencer. Then you simply click through to the website and complete your shop as normal.
Don’t forget to use your Sparks card when you’re shopping online!
If you’re not clued up on Cashback, remember you can read all about ‘What is Cashback‘ on my site.
Earn cashback with a Chase cashback debit card
Chase offer a cashback debit card that allows you to earn 1% cashback on your everyday purchases. Sign up for a cashback debit card, with the digital bank Chase, which you can use in the place of your normal debit or credit card. You’ll receive 1% cashback on all eligible purchases up to £1,500 per month.
What I love about using Chase is it does not add any additional steps to my purchasing habits and I can add it to my contactless card wallet for convenience too.
This is a great way to save money at Marks and Spencer but also on your regular purchases and household spending that you’d be using a debit card for anyway.
You can also sign up for a Marks and Spencer credit card and earn reward points, more when you shop in Marks and Spencer than anywhere else, though this may only be a good deal if you’re a regular Marks and Spencer shopper.
Save money on the best deals at Marks and Spencer when you pay for your shopping with a gift card
Rather than paying for your Marks and Spencer shopping with a debit or credit card you can purchase a gift card, from a cashback gift card app, and make yourself some extra cashback.
You can earn around 5% back if you purchase a Marks and Spencer gift card from the everup, Airtime or JamDoughnut apps. Alternatively you can use the gift card sections on the TopCashback or Quidco websites to buy a gift card from your laptop or computer.
When you purchase a cashback gift card you’ll typically receive instant cashback. This ranges from 2% to 4% on average for supermarkets and from 5% to 10% for many retailers. Cashback for Marks and Spencer often sits around the 5% mark.
You may find that cashback rates are boosted, fairly frequently, on JamDoughnut and everup in particular, meaning that you can stock up on gift cards or time your shopping well to maximise the cashback that you receive.
I suggest checking the apps and websites, if you have time, to maximise the cashback that you can earn.
Even just earning 2% back on all of your grocery purchases would add up considerably throughout the year and allow you to pay for a week of groceries entirely free with the cashback you earned.
The everup app also allows you to receive coins, which are redeemable in-app for spins on games and scratch tickets that can earn you cash.
Pay for the best deals at Marks and Spencer with a cashback credit card
When you sign up for a Marks and Spencer credit card, you’ll receive rewards every time you spend on the card. 1 rewards point is worth 1p. The amount you’ll earn is as follows:
- 1 Rewards point per £1 spent in Marks and Spencer.
- 1 Rewards point per £5 spent elsewhere.
- 3 Rewards points per £1 spent abroad (on purchases in local currency – fees apply).
Rewards are converted to Marks and Spencer vouchers four times per year, as long as you have at least 200 Reward points, which is a £2 voucher.
